  We just had a family reunion there and it was terrible. We booked a site paid the $33 a night and then by the end they wanted another $20 a night for our kids tent. That is ridiculous it was in our site but they wanted us to pay for the camper and tiny kids tent. They said we had all these extra people that weren't there. They never came around and yet they were able to say how many day people we had. We had family that had a medical emergency down in the states and had to cancel their spots 1.5 weeks in advance but since it wasn't the 2 weeks they were charged for the spots. It wasn't because they just decided not to show up they had to rush to a hospital in the states but the owners would budge. We will never go back there. Between the leeches and poor hosts it was a horrible weekend.

  Great weekend of old fashioned fun! The dinner buffet was good. Just good country cooking not French cuisine. The music was great! I did not expect that calibre from a family band. We danced the whole evening at the barn dance except for the line dancing (they gave lessons but I just couldn't get my brain to make my feet go the right way).The campground is clean and well looked after. A different kind of weekend away.

  Main washroom was far away from our site. They should add another one. The toilet at our campsite was disgusting.

  What great fun we had @ The Great Canadian Barn Dance. The staff are amazing and so welcoming. It is all about having a good time. Unfortunately the Barn Dance meal fell short and it was not acceptable. The roast beef was very good and that is about all. They charge way too much for this buffet meal. I went back for another piece of beef and was given a slice of fat...We also camped and this also was not up to par. Expensive camp for what you get. I would definitely go back to the dance but would eat and stay elsewhere.
